Our Objective
SHAROD (Swindon Holistic Association for Religious and Optimistic Development) is a community-driven charitable organisation dedicated to preserving, promoting, and celebrating the rich heritage of Bengali culture through inclusive cultural, religious, and humanitarian initiatives.
Our core objective is to foster unity, diversity, and cultural appreciation by organizing vibrant events such as Durga Puja, Holi, Pohela Boishakh, and literary celebrations like Rabindra and Nazrul Jayanti.We provide a platform for intergenerational cultural expression and community bonding, while also supporting social welfare through charitable collaborations and outreach.
Through artistic performances, traditional rituals, educational forums, and partnerships with other organisations, SHAROD cultivates an environment where culture connects, compassion flourishes, and traditions thrive across communities in Swindon and beyond.
